September 17th, 2018 – A fun lucid dream with Neil deGrasse Tyson and Gordon Ramsey

This was a long lucid dream and had two interesting dream characters to have encountered.  As I have said in previous lucid dreams meeting a celebrity is mainly due to the fact I merely recognize them so engage their dream characters because they are relatable to someone I know from the waking world.

In this dream, I was on a street where I saw Neil deGrasse Tyson so decided to walk over and talk with him.  I introduce myself and tell him my name.  He’s nice, and we shake hands.  I say to him that as an Astro-physicist he should explore the inner-cosmos as passionately as he does the outer one.   He’s a bit confused to that statement.

I explain, “Dreams are an amazing part of our reality, they are fun to explore.” And he looks at me like I am crazy so I press on.  “For example, this dream.  You should realize it’s a dream and explore it.”

He laughs and tells me it’s not a dream, it’s reality.  I laugh in return.  “How do you know it’s not a dream?”.  He looks around, the rich details of the dream rendering out as vividly as waking life.

“Reality is not a dream.” He tells me.

“But this isn’t reality, this is a dream.” I reply.

He looks confused again.  “Have you been smoking weed?” he replies.  “Why would you smoke weed?”

I laugh.  “No, I am just conscious in this dream, so I know it’s a dream. “

“Don’t smoke weed, it isn’t good for you.  Why would you do that?” he asks again.

“If I smoked weed, I wouldn’t realize this was a dream.   But I assure you, this isn’t reality.  It is the dream world.” I reply.

“But it can’t be a dream, it’s real.” He tells me.

I laugh and kind of go Morpheus in the matrix.  “But what is real?  Just because the dream appears real doesn’t make it any less a dream. “

He looks at me thinking about it.  “If this is a dream, then that’s a remarkable discovery.  You need to tell people this.  You are on to something here.”

I laugh, “I did just tell someone.  You.”

He shakes his head bewildered and leaves.  I don’t pursue and let him go.  I walk to a party where people are smoking weed.  There is all this great food on a counter, and I notice Gordon Ramsey is there.  I wasn’t done telling dream characters about the current run-time dream and decided to have a nice dream discussion with his dream character.

Like with Neil, I introduce myself to him and tell him that I ate at his Burger restaurant in Vegas.  He liked hearing that and asked me what I thought.  “It was great, I really enjoyed the food.”  Then I ask him, “How are you enjoying the dream?”

“What dream?” he asks.

“This dream,” I reply.

He laughs and says, “Fuck off, it’s not a dream.” Then turns to walk away.

I put my arm around his shoulder and ask him, “How do you know it’s not a dream? “

“So you are telling me this is a dream?  Bloody hell.  How do you know?” he asks.

“I usually always know when I am dreaming.” And we walk to a patio and look at this city with animated billboards, it’s quite riveting and beautiful.

“Look at that billboard,” I tell him, and I start to warp the images and make the people distort.  “See, I just warped the people because it’s a dream, very easy to do.”

He gets excited and amazed, “Jesus if this is a dream, it’s amazing. “ he tells me.

“I know, they dreams are amazing.  Just focus on it and look at how beautiful dreams are.” I tell him.

He becomes a younger version of himself filled with enthusiasm and curiosity.  We go back into the party, and he asks me how long I’ve been doing this (dreaming).

“As often as I can.  I can eat what I want, drink what I want and do what I want with zero consequences.” I tell him, “I’m literally living the dream.”

We start to mingle with other party guests, and I decide to let them on that it was a dream also.  Gordon goes and sits on a couch.  I choose to dig into some of the food and drink, which was all very tasty.  Some of the guests are passing a joint and offer me a hit.  It’s a dream so why not.  I puff away, but it doesn’t have any effect.

It goes on for quite some time, I just chill and have fun hanging out partying having my fill of great food and drink.  Then wake up.  Gotta love living a second life in this wonderful world of dreams.  They really are meant to be conscious in.  Such a higher quality experience when you are fully awake in these night-time adventures.
